Add. info: 2018 pick, sun dried. Note that I used half a mini cake (4.10g) for this tasting.
It's all about
the interplay between the maltiness, light astringency, and bitterness of an Assam-like black tea with the sweetness and dank earthiness of a shou puer. A robust cup without being cloying or overly drying. The complex aftertaste lingers and lightens into a brighter sweetness of dried fruits. In subsequent steeps, the body weakens but reveals a pleasant perfume-like floral aroma.
