It's all about
a bright lemon aroma that fades to a rich, lingering honey taste (and leaves the empty cup smelling of cocoa). Everything sits very forward on the tongue and mouth and gives the tea an overall feeling of lightness. While this tea packs less oomph than the sheng puer-style tea made from the same old growth material (also sold by the same company), it boasts a unique, easy drinking profile. And since this is a white tea, this profile should slowly morph over time - changes I’m looking forward to sampling!
