It's all about
the loudness of the jasmine scent, and how it intermingles with the underlying aromas from the tea itself. To me, the strong black tea aromas of banana and chocolate just didn't mesh well with the jasmine. Flavor is also quite light, but unfortunately takes on a sour note as the liquor cools. This is likely due to oversteeping. A second cup brewed in the same manner tastes much more like a standard green/white jasmine tea, with the jasmine scent remaining strong and no black tea taste nor sourness.
