Gentle marine and vegetal aromas with the sweetness of some Chinese green teas (anji baicha comes to mind). Every time I drink sencha steeped with my review parameters (98C water for 6 minutes) I expect a bomb of bitterness. Luckily, that wasn't the case here. This is a tea that has clearly been blended with care. While there is some building astringency, it's hardly unpleasant and adds a bit of substance to the lingering refined sugar sweetness.
