It's all about

bright, balanced aromas and an oily rich texture. This is a nuanced black tea without bitterness even when steeped hard. Sometimes I've found that the fruit notes (particularly apple aromas) from these highly-aromatic black teas can become cloying, but not so here. The pleasant underlying sourness of the tieguanyin cultivar keeps the sweetness in check.
